SparqU serves underrepresented and underserved populations by providing specialized workforce certification training and youth empowerment programs that equip individuals with skills and opportunities in STEAM fields. We collaborate with educational institutions, businesses, and community organizations to foster pathways to career success, improving economic stability and well-being. Through workshops and tailored consulting services, SparqU promotes workforce diversity, enhances talent development strategies, and drives impactful community engagement to address social and economic barriers.

We cultivate untapped entrepreneurial talent and help freelancers, the self-employed, and startups get the resources they need to start, sustain, and showcase their businesses through community services like STEAM-oriented workforce training, entrepreneur camps, and youth programs.

OUR AIM
Through our unique business model, the underrepresented and underserved gain the skills, networks, and system know-how needed to become the next generation of business leaders. Ultimately, we encourage our participants to establish careers they are passionate about that boost American innovation, own businesses that create jobs, equalize opportunity, and help companies leverage the untapped talent of disadvantaged and minority communities.

We have partnered with several institutions that provide educational services. We are experienced in collaborating with non-profits, high schools, technical colleges, and 4-year colleges. As a leading training resource and talent development company, we are dedicated to helping local businesses and community organizations better serve underrepresented and underserved populations. Our core services include:

  • Workforce Certification Training: We offer customized training programs to equip individuals with essential skills and certifications needed to thrive in various industries.

  • Youth Empowerment Programs: We aim to empower middle to high school students to explore STEAM subjects, learn problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to career opportunities in technology fields through workforce and emotional intelligence training.

  • Workshops: Our workshops aim to engage young minds through interactive sessions that foster creativity and learning in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

  • Consulting Services: We provide tailored consulting to organizations, helping them enhance their talent development strategies, improve workforce diversity, and achieve impactful community engagement.

Meet the Founder

Lynn S. Wilson

Denver native, respected business professor, and social entrepreneur, Prof. Lynn teaches courses in business and information technology. He has quietly impacted the Downtown Denver business community and Auraria campus since the formation of SparqU in 2014. Known as a forward-thinking innovator with deep roots in the entrepreneurship and academic ecosystem, he is highly sought for advising small businesses, non-profits, and community leaders how to create effective entrepreneur and career development programs. Due to his humble beginnings in Far NE Denver and unwavering faith, he has remained committed to assisting the under-served and the under-represented gain the skills, networks, and system know-how needed to become the next generation of business leaders.

Prof. Wilson holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and an M.I.B.A. with an Entrepreneurship emphasis from Nova Southeastern University.
