STEAM Ready Apprenticeship Program

We are looking for socially-minded leaders who can commit to successfully completing one or more STEAM-oriented camps with us. In return, we will provide placement with SparqU or one of its collaborative partners.

You will get the opportunity to:

  • Be a part of our network of entrepreneurs, public, and private leaders.

  • Bring your authentic skills, talents, and experience toward social impact.

  • Deepen your own knowledge of core business and digital skills.

  • Continue your own personal and professional development as you manage various projects

Why SparqU?

SparqU is a collective of like-minded entrepreneurs who want to achieve their goals together. It is not bound by an office space or any one location, but it is more of an agreement that it is better to get stuff done together rather than by yourself. We believe that we all have capital, so however we pay it forward or give it back, it will come back to us in some form or another.

Our format does not lean on traditional classroom lectures and readings, or traditional teaching methods. Rather, SparqU provides an immersive entrepreneurial experience where enthusiastic facilitators are part mentor and part “accountability partner’. They are responsible for providing guidance, evaluation, and support for participants throughout the program.

You will be mentored to become business concierges planted throughout the city in your respective community. Your connections could be instrumental in fulfilling community needs. Examples include: providing introductions, training, reserving tours or venues, scheduling speakers or events, etc..

What does this apprenticeship entail?

  • SparqU apprentices will receive work-based learning experiences 10-38 hours/week for an agreed amount of weeks (min. 12 weeks).

  • You will primarily work remotely.

  • Through Colorado Workforce Center Services, you will be paid an initial wage of $18/hr. which can increase $2/hr. every time you complete a certification.

  • SparqU apprentices will receive certification training relevant to their position during their apprenticeship. This training will be scheduled around their work schedule.
